Challenge

Bio&Me, producers of gut-loving prebiotic granola, first approached YF when they were pre-launch, designing packaging and building their customer base.

They had already planned their number of units for the first production run, but were going to need ongoing support and advice as their products went live.

Approach

We took their initial forecast, and created their first plan. As they started to receive real sales data and onboard new customers, our role was to ensure there was always a live and reliable plan.

Using a mixture of data sourcess, our industry benchmarks and collaborative forecasting with retailers, we were able to provide Bio&Me with a bespoke output to match their needs.

Results

Since going live with our Demand Planning Service, Bio&Me has never been out of stock. We have been able to further support them with packaging compliance, selecting their distribution partner, setting them up on their retailers’ systems, and being a sounding board for all supply-side questions.

We are proud to have seen their amazing growth and to have assisted them through their major listing with Waitrose.
