Business Development Manager – Out Of Home (£30K, London)

This challenger brand has led the way in its category for ethics, sustainability, and taste. Their product has been successful across multiple channels and they are on a continuous journey of growth.

With the restaurant industry and other out of home channels picking up, they are looking for someone to reignite this sector, supporting new business wins across the whole channel.

They are looking for someone creative, sparking new ideas on where their products could sell, as well as a strong relationship builder, and great salesperson, who can get their products listed.

This role is for someone ambitious, looking to take ownership of winning a huge portfolio of OOH customers, large distributors and make their mark as a great salesperson within FMCG.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with OOH Manager, within the commercial team, winning new business with a focus on restaurants, pubs, and Food Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business pitches and wins
  • Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline
  • Weekly reporting on budgets and forecasts
  • Strategically planning with the wider team on new business potential
  • Working closely with marketing and operations to ensure customers needs can be fulfilled and encourage growth

The Person

  • Experienced in a sales role within the Food Service channel (min 1 year)
  • Passionate about sustainability and great tasting food products
  • Ability and confidence to lead on pitches to new clients
  • Personable and a strong relationship builder
  • Organised and able to manage their own timelines
  • Ambitious and hungry to learn and take on increasing responsibilities
  • Looking to take ownership of new channels
  • Passionate about the startup, fast-paced environment
