Demand Planner – London

£35-50k (dependent on experience)

Are you a Demand Planner looking for an exciting challenge is an established but fast-growing challenger brand? If so, this role with a rapidly scaling sweet-treats brand that have a footprint and customer base across Europe could be the perfect fit for you!

 

In this Demand Planning role you will work closely with the finance, sales and operations teams to build an S&OP process that ensures stock is always in the right place at the right time whilst building out a wider Demand Planning function.

 

The role: 

  • Build an S&OP process for the business
  • Maintain excellent relationships across the brand's sales, operations and finance teams and also with their customers and wider supply chain
  • Analyse sales trends, customer demand, etc to create detailed sales forecasts by SKU
  • Analyse variances to these forecasts
  • Work with the operations team to closely manage the brands stock levels across all locations – ensuring this is optimised and forecasts are accurate
  • Work as part of a project team moving the business from Excel to a dedicated stock management system
  • Month-end stock, production and revenue reconciliations – working closely with the finance team
  • Ensure SKU data is up to date in the stock management system
  • Track and maintain Demand Planning KPIs – primarily forecast accuracy, stock level, SKU count, etc
  • Reporting to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Heads of Sales and Operations too

 

The person:

  • 3-5 years+ supply chain experience with a strong focus/expertise in demand/supply planning
  • FMCG industry experience is required
  • Very confident manipulating data to create highly accurate forecasts
  • Experience of working with the major retailers
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred
  • A high level of experience with Microsoft Office with a key focus on Excel
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
