Finance Analyst
£40-45k, currently remote with some travel to London required in future
We are working with an exciting investment company who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team with the ultimate goal of helping start-ups secure funding.
This is a great opportunity to breach the world of investment and develop a specialism of working with startups. Because of the market they work in, our client are not corporate, if you’ve got the numerical skills and knowledge to be in finance but want the agility and modern nature of a start up this is perfect for you.
The role:
Working across both investments and portfolio management
Assisting in executing deals
Financial Modelling
Cash flow analysis, valuation analysis and performance analysis
Improving and sustaining the database
Liaising with companies in the portfolio and putting together reports
Reviewing potential investments
The person:
1-2 years of finance experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Bonus if that’s come from either the VC world or within a start up
A bit of an outlier in the finance world, someone who enjoys the job but likes the idea of a different environment
Eagerness to learn
Ability to effectively communicate with company founders
Team player
